Smart Agriculture Workshop

Farming relies on more than just traditional wisdom; it can now harness the power of technology. This workshop takes you into the new era of "Smart Agriculture," exploring how the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) monitor soil moisture, nutrients, and climate data in real time. This allows modern farmers to accurately track crop conditions, timely adjust irrigation and fertilization strategies, effectively conserve natural resources, and achieve low-carbon, sustainable production.

Tutors will guide participants through the organic farm to observe soil sensors and IoT systems operating in the field. Participants will then have the opportunity to operate simple equipment firsthand to collect on-site farmland data and learn basic analytical skills to understand how data translates into farming decisions. Participants can also build their own IoT sensors—experiencing everything from hardware circuit assembly to simple programming—to see the practical application of sensors in planting. From the fields to data analysis, discover together how technology empowers agriculture to tackle climate change, unlocking the infinite possibilities of smart farming!
