Low-Carbon Kitchen DIY & Farm Cooking Activity Day

The newly launched "Jockey Club Low-Carbon Culinary Centre" introduces a series of cooking workshops. Led by professional tutors, participants will explore the concept of "food carbon footprints" and hands-on prepare low-carbon, healthy dishes to practice sustainable eating. Featuring the farm's seasonal organic ingredients, visiting groups can choose traditional Chinese dishes—such as pork dumplings made with fresh, farm-grown organic chives—or opt for vegetarian and seasonal limited menus, like seasonal organic vegetable rice paper rolls, embodying the low-carbon principle of "eating seasonally."

For groups looking to embrace a slow-living experience and enjoy cooking right next to the fields, the "Farm-to-Table: Countryside Cooking Activity Day" is the perfect choice. Through a talk on "Organic Farming and Low Carbon Lifestyle“ and an in-depth guided farm tour, participants will first learn about organic farming before showcasing their culinary skills at the culinary centre.

Both activities not only allow participants to enjoy the fun of teamwork and cooking but also help them master ingredient nutrition, low-carbon cooking techniques, and essential self-care skills, guiding everyone to truly integrate green eating into their daily lives.
