Solar-Powered Scarecrow Workshop

Scarecrows are no longer just guardians of the fields; they have become a symbol of the integration between modern green energy and smart farming technology. In this workshop, participants will design and build their own miniature solar-powered scarecrow. From assembling the circuit and installing the solar panel to crafting imaginative, creative designs for their scarecrow, participants will gain an intuitive and deep understanding of the physical principles behind converting solar energy into electricity while exploring the vital role renewable energy plays in combating climate change.

The activity focuses on demonstrating how technology empowers modern agriculture, guiding participants to explore the endless possibilities of low-carbon living and sustainable farming. Combined with the farm's in-depth guided tour and hands-on farming experience, participants will truly experience the connection between life and the land, planting green seeds of food appreciation and resource circulation in their hearts.

Fee: (Full-day activity) $220/ pax

Remarks: This is a full-day farm activity that includes the Solar-Powered Scarecrow Workshop, a talk on "Organic Farming and Low Carbon Lifestyle", farm tour, farming experience and a lunch break (lunch fees are not included). Participants can add on a Low-Carbon Kitchen DIY lunch, Pick-Your-Own-Organic-Veggies, or other workshops. We can also arrange a tutor to run the activity off-site (separate quotation required).
