The HKFYG Jockey Club Organic Farm

The HKFYG Jockey Club Organic Farm situated at Ho Pui Reservoir, Yuen Long is about 160,000 sq. ft, it is so far the only Farm in Hong Kong follows both the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Organic Programme and also Hong Kong Organic Resource Centre offering our consumers fresh local organic produce.

Established in 2010, the HKFYG Jockey Club Organic Farm has now been serving thousands of loyal customers in the community for near a decade. With a constant supply of fresh organic vegetables and educational visits, the Farm contributes to the health and well-being of people of all ages. Over 40,000 visitors and 200 groups usually visit the Farm every year.

In 2025, the Farm received funding from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust for a comprehensive renovation of its premises. The Farm is now the first social enterprise in Hong Kong to integrate smart agriculture and climate education.

The HKFYG Jockey Club Organic Farm is operated by The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG), a registered non-profit charitable organization. With a longstanding mission to promote the physical and mental wellbeing of young people, the HKFYG Jockey Club Organic Farm is dedicated to promoting healthy and sustainable lifestyles through organic produce and agricultural education programmes.

The Farm’s mission is symbolized by its logo—a cabbage. The HKFYG grows healthy organic crops on the land and promotes organic practices and green messages. We encourage young people to engage in organic living, cultivating positive life attitudes and habits from a young age, like nurturing seedlings. This supports their physical and mental development and instills responsibility for environmental conservation, preparing them to become pillars of society. We also encourage citizens to support and participate in conservation work, working together to achieve sustainable development for Hong Kong and the world.
